Like us, you most likely do. How much control do you have over the activity that\’s stored by Google? Do you even know how much of your history and activity is stored by the big technology giants and what they do with your information?

It\’s time to take a peek at some of the information companies like Google remember about you. And we think you\’ll be surprised.

If you have a Google account and are logged in, go to a web browser and type in the following (just click the link and it will open up in a new window for you if that\’s easier)

This defaults to your Web and App history. Just scroll down the page and it will show you a timeline of your activity. They\’ll be things on there that even you won\’t remember!

Just bear in mind, that companies like Google are soaking up all this information from you and using it in many ways to tailor products and advertising toward you and in other ways too.

So what can you do about it?

Well, there is a little options button on the top right which allows you to enter your activity controls.

In the Activity Controls option you can select and deselect whatever you want.

Regain control!
